• Hello my name is Xaiver Adams, I am a proofreader and copyeditor for my business MIGUZi Copyediting. Welcome! I have been an avid reader all my life & see editing as a way to make a living of what I enjoy doing. I look forward to working with you to make your work the best quality it can be! My background has included college courses from East Mississippi Community College, Udemy, & Charles Sturt University. Lastly, in my spare time I, write blogs, read, and listen to music.

•  My duties and responsibilities that I provide for clients in editing and proofreading include:  

• Proofreading Client's files to check for correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation

• Ensuring that the book’s word style sheet has been followed, especially with regard to consistency in abbreviations, acronyms,  spelling, units of measure, and use of specific terms

• Checking for visual problems (e.g., tabs, alignment, consistency of fonts and spacing, loose/tight lines, widows, orphans, and bad breaks)

• Checking reference lists for completeness, correct spelling, etc
